These albums have been out for a while now but we’d just like to draw your attention to them once again. They were released by The Sound of Apskaft which is a collaborative Netlabel based around a Last.fm group simply titled Apskaft.
They all feature our very own awaycaboose as well as a host of very talented musicians and artists all of whom release their own work, either individually or through other Netlabels, when they aren’t spending their time working on collaborative projects at Apskaft.

These rather fine albums feature a number of the Apskaft artists delivering their own interpretations of three classic pieces of music; “Sheena Is a Punk Rocker” by The Ramones, “21st Century Schizoid Man” by King Crimson and “Toccata & Fugue in D Minor” by Johann Sebastian Bach.
This release is best described by Apskaft themselves;
“The Apskaft Symphony is something of a tour de force of the Apskaft collective. The participants of this project added a whole bunch of audio layers on top of each other and what we got as a result is a psychedelic track that spans over thirty minutes.
The guilty parties are Quendus, Stalemar, awaycaboose, SilverlagE, the vitamin b12, Speculativism, Res Band, The Organdicks, Solstice Heath, Lucy Tentacles, Doctor Dexter, Agnostic Asylum, grey cubes and fydhws.”
